Another Great Yard Sale and Changes Coming

It was fun seeing everyone at the yard sale and meeting new friends that came. We even survived the rain, thanks to everyone that helped us wipe down furniture!

Sometimes changes are good and sometimes not so good but we are hoping the changes we are making are good. This is how we are changing:

Instead of having 2 large yard sales a year, we are going to email everyone on our list monthly with pictures, dimensions and prices of the furniture we have for sale. If anyone is interested in anything, just contact us by email or phone to set up a time to come see what we have. Or, as always, you can contact us anytime to see if we have what you are looking for. If you would like us to take you off the list, please let us know. Or if you have any friends that would like to be on the list, please let us know that too. We will also update our blog with the new furniture that we have finished.

If anyone has suggestions for us, please let us know.

We sold over 260 pieces of furniture at the sale and storing that much furniture and getting it transported from where we paint to where the sale is is a lot of work. We are hoping this change will make it less exhausting for us.

Moving Days

Right now we are in the process of moving furniture. Boy I forgot how many big, heavy pieces we have. it takes a good week just to move them. I'll post a few pictures each day as we move them from where we paint to where our sale is so you can see a little bit of what we have. We are getting excited so hope you are too.

Oops Date Wrong

I have the dates wrong for the yard sale. It should be SEPT. 22, 23, 24, 25. I'll be posting some pictures in the next couple of days.

SEPT. 23,24,25,26, 2010. That's the date for our next Yard Sale (weather permitting). As you can see from the pictures our storage areas are full (there are 4 other storage places that I don't have pictures of). I will send emails when date is for sure. Storage Space Bursting at Seams

We are planning on having our yard sale sometime in September but our storage spaces are bursting at the seams so we decided to sale some pieces so we'll have more room so we can continue to paint more stuff. (Wow, That was a mouthful) Here are just a few pictures and prices of pieces that were easily accessible to take pictures of but if you are in need of something, contact us, we might have it.

Light blue Buffet - 37 long 19 deep 29 tall - $125.00

Turquoise Chest of Drawers - $150.00 (There is a turquoise queen bed that goes with it but couldn't find it to take picture)

Red Cedar Chest - 48 long 18 deep 19 tall - $125.00

Black Queen Bed with wood rails - $200

Tall red bookcase (too tall to get it in picture) - 84 tall 32 wide 11 deep - $125.00

Where's the summer going?

It doesn't seem like it should be July already. I guess we've been busy, so time flies when you're having fun. Thought I would post a few pictures of what we have been doing. If you see anything you might be interested in, give us a call or email us and I can give you dimensions and prices. I know, the pictures aren't very good but I don't think about taking pictures until we have everything stacked on top of each other. The first 2 pictures of the 3 tall white bookcases and hutch actually go together but we can sell them separately. The 3rd picture is a light blue buffet. Next is a heavy duty drop leaf table that opens on both ends for storage. The 4th is a turquoise (doesn't really look turquoise in picture) cabinet. 5th is a large table that would be great indoors or outdoors. Next is a hall tree made out of an old door and last is actually a sewing cupboard but the sewing table part that folds down can be taken out and has shelves in it.
